Why We Built
Worqd
As a development agency building AI-powered solutions for clients, we were drowning in project management chaos. We tried Jira, Asana, Monday, ClickUp—you name it. Each tool promised the world but delivered friction.
The platforms were feature-gated. Want AI? That's enterprise only. Need client portals? Upgrade to Pro. Time tracking? Another add-on. We were paying for a dozen disconnected tools that didn't talk to each other.
None had what we needed as a development company. We needed AI that could actually do things—create tasks from emails, generate status reports, manage client communications automatically. Not AI buzzwords. Real automation.
So we built Worqd for ourselves. A project management platform with an AI assistant that actually works—50+ tools, natural language interface, two-way email processing, automated reports, and a client portal that doesn't require clients to create accounts.
It worked so well that other agencies started asking, “Can we use that?” And Worqd was born.
